Great Wolf Lodge

We just got back from two days at Great Wolf Lodge. It really is worth every penny of the cost of the rooms.

We went last year and the kids had a WONDERFUL time, every time since then, that the commercial has been on tv the boys ask..."when can we go back" they loved it.

So this year, we didn't tell them we were going. We just packed the car and told them that we had to go for a meeting and that we couldn't get a babysitter so they had to come with us (insert grouchy five year old faces here). We drove the hour and a half and as we pulled up to the Lodge, it clicked with Twin A that we were actually going to Great wolf Lodge.

All hell broke loose in the back of my van. There was shouting. There was screaming. There was cheering. Best of all there were two little boys who looked like they won the lottary. We had a blast! It really is a great place to take your kids if they enjoy the water. We got home late last night, waterlogged, but happy. So much fun :)

That's funny I just saw an ad for this place the other day - I didn't really know it existed. It looks like a blast - I can't wait util Graham is old enough to take there...

Oh, we LOVE Great Wolf Lodge! There is one in Wisconsin Dells that we have gone to for 9 years now. MANY a vacation spent there.

We are trying out a new waterpark in the Dells this year, but will always go back to the Wolf!

Aw, what a fun surprise! I bet it was as much fun for you and Derek to surprise them as it was for them to be surprised!

My friends have gone, and the kids all love it! We went to the smaller one right on Niagara Falls, but I hear this one is so much better. Next time! :)
